This is the branding for Sadal, a makeup artist located in Montréal, Quebec. I decided to use a serif font to convey the handmade aspect that is involved when being a makeup artist. The eyelashes were added to make the wordmark more lively, and can also be seen as a symbol for new ideas and creativity. The nude color palette is very fitting in the makeup industry, as it is meant to represent the many skin tones seen on a daily basis. Overall, makeup is supposed to be fun and colorful, and I think this branding represents that quite well.
